Our residential camps are being held at the University of California Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California. The 2009 sessions will be held June 21 - 26 and July 26 - 31. Campers stay in student dorms, study and perform in the new university music building, and eat three meals a day in the student union dining room. (UCSC is located near the San Francisco Bay area, just 30 miles from the San Jose Airport.)
During the week at camp, students participate in a great program of classes, lectures and demonstrations in theory, technique, rock styles, history of rock and performance in bands. Students play all styles of rock, from Led Zeppelin to the Beatles to Tool. All of this makes Soundwall Music Camp an exciting experience for young musicians.
Students are housed in a campus dorm, two to a room. Three meals a day are provided in the Campus Student Union plus all students receive a camp workbook and tee-shirt.
If you're 12-17 years old, play electric guitar, electric bass, drums or sing, and you have at least one year of lessons and/or playing experience, Soundwall Rock 'N' Roll Summer Music is for you!
